Begins With Piet Sielck In Germany
At time of writing
drummer Pavel and guitarist Hanny are
currently in Germany recording the first
portions of the new Black Majesty album with
producer Piet Sielk.

Word from Germany is that Pavel has put down
his parts in quick time to the approval of
Sielk.


Hanny & Pavel pay tribute to metal
legends SAXON in Czech Republic!
Before laying down tracks for the second
album Hanny and Pavel played part of a
special one off tribute to metal legends
SAXON with a Czech metal band performing many
of the bands classics live in the Czech
Republic. The show will also feature guest
performances from other well known local
Czech metal heads making the night a
mega memorable salute to the music of UK
metal faves Saxon!

HANNY JACKSON GUITARS AD IN VARIOUS GUITAR
PUBLICATIONS
Black Majesty guitarist Hanny is also
featured in a new Jackson guitars ad titled
'The New Breed' along side Fear Factory's
guitarist among others. The ad is currently
doing the rounds in a bunch of guitar mags
such as Guitar Buyer, Guitar World, etc.

JEFF SCOTT SOTO IN AUSTRALIA
Just before commencing work recording the new
album members of the band had the pleasure of
seeing and meeting ex Yngwie Malmsteen's
Rising Force, Talisman, Axel Rudi Pell et al
frontman/vocalsit Jeff Scott Soto at his
Melbourne show. To the delight of all in
attendance Soto absolutely ripped live
especially in Melbourne which was said to be
the best attended show on his Oz tour. Here's
a snap with Stevie, Jeff and Hanny.

- BLACK MAJESTY TO BEGIN WORK ON NEW ALBUM
WITH PIET SIELCK OF IRON SAVIOR
Australian power
metallers BLACK MAJESTY will begin recording
their second album with acclaimed producer
(and of course vocalist/guitarist of Iron
Savior) Piet Sielck in Germany. The band will
commence recording drums in November 2004 at
K.A.R.O Studios in Germany. Sielck's
production duties already include Gamma Ray,
Blind Guardian, Grave Digger and Saxon. Black
Majesty have spent the last 6 months in pre
production aiming for a mid 2005 release
through their Limb Music Products label.

Show Postponed, Fill In Drummer Changes, Work
commences for new album!
Due to Melbourne's
‘Breakers’ club unfortunately
closing its doors to Heavy Metal Music, the
Black Majesty show that was scheduled for
Friday July 30th has been unfortunately
cancelled/postponed. A future Black Majesty
gig is currently in the pipeline and
notification will be made as soon as it is
available. Black Majesty will of course still
play its Sydney show at Bizzo's in Carringbah
on Saturday 10 July as planned. As reported,
Pavel Konvalinka is unable to play these
shows and Revv Rob will now be filling in on
the drumming stool position until Pavel gets
back from the Czech Republic. Black Majesty
has also finished pre production for its
second album and will commence recording
proper in November.

26.09.2005 | Sydney and
Melbourne shows announced, Fill In Drummer
& Endorsement deals
Black Majesty will
make its second trek to Sydney on Saturday
10th of July playing BIZZO'S - 22-24 Mackay
St CARRINGBAH - Opposite Train Station (*Yes
the Venue has be changed!). The band will
have cds & t shirts on sale on the night
so get down early and support what is sure to
be a huge night of METAL. Support comes from
Sydney lads Vaticide, Syphilis, and
Switchblade. Doors open at 7.30pm. The band
is already looking forward to catching up
again with everyone north of the border in
Sydney & New South Wales.
The next Melbourne show sees Black Majesty
play its regular stomping ground of Breakers
in Moonee Ponds (690 Mt. Alexander Rd. Moonee
Ponds) on Friday 30th of July.
Black Majesty will be playing both shows
without drummer Pavel Konvalinka as he has
had to unexpectidly return to the Czech
Republic for family reasons. Pavel devotees
should not worry as he is set to return to
Australia as soon as possible. While Pavel is
away the Black Majesty drumming position will
be filled in by the mighty "Euan Heriot" of
"Abramelin" and "Blood Duster" fame and much
respected on the Melbourne metal and drumming
scene in general.


Black Majesty guitar players Stevie Janevski
& Hanny Mohamed have scored endorsement
deals with some great companies. Stevie has
signed a deal with "Hughes & Kettner
Amplification" whilst Hanny Mohamed has
signed with "Jackson Guitars". The boys have
also scored a deal with "Dean Markley Guitar
Strings".

There is also an article on Steve and Black
Majesty in the current issue of "Australian
Guitar Magazine". 50 Years of Stratocaster
cover.

Pre production for New Album, Burrn Magazine
Review 83/100, New Black Majesty T-shirt Out
Now!
Firstly thank you to
all who attended last month's show at
Breakers with Eyefear. The turn out was
amazing and we were all pretty suprised to
hear the night broke the attendance record
for the venue - so cheers to all who came
along and was part of a huge night of
Melbourne Metal! The band has currently
commenced pre prodction nutting out songs for
the next album but hope to announce some
upcoming shows in both Sydney and Melbourne
soon.

Latest news from the land of the rising sun
is Black Majesty has just been reviewed in
the current April issue of Japan's premier
metal mag Burrn! After heading the Burrn!
Import Chart the last few months the band
received a healthly 83 out of 100 with some
very positive thoughts on the album from Mr.
Fujiki. The band seems to be getting quite a
bit of interest from out of Japan so please
keep the emails coming. Black Majesty really
enjoys hearing from fans from all over the
globe.

After much demand for shirts we are pleased
to announce that a batch of Sands of Time two
sided t-shirts have arrived and are now
available. First in best dressed on the first
batch so get in quick to get sizes available.
Sizes do come in Medium, Large and Extra
Large but as stocks sell some sizes will be
more limited - so please get in quick. We
have tried to keep the cost as low as
possible coming to 30 Australian Dollars (or
Equivalent) per shirt plus postage depending
on where the shirts are being shipped to.

Melbourne Show, Japan Import Chart
News
Black Majesty's debut
album Sands of Time is currently number 3 on
Japan Heavy Metal bible Burrn! Magazine
Import Chart alongside Hammerfall and
Moonspell. Other news includes Sands of Time
being voted in the top 10 albums by Germany
Metal Mags - Rock Hard and Heavy Oder Was!
Also featuring in scribes top 10 albums of
2003 from Canadian metal magazine Brave Words
and Bloody Knuckles. We also have news that
the album is selling consistently thru out
Europe and many of you are doing a great job
bothering stores here in Australia to get the
album in. Keep it up! Black Majesty's Sands
of Time is out now on LMP Records,
distrubuted by SPV in the US and thru Riot
Distribution in Australia.
BLACK MAJESTY do their next show at
Melbourne's new home of Heavy Metal -
Breakers in Moonee Ponds on FRIDAY 27th
FEBRUARY with good freinds EYEFEAR also
playing on of the bill. This one promises to
be a big night so it is suggested people get
in early. Doors open at 8pm.

of Time' Album Launch - Thank you
Sydney!
Black Majesty would
like to sincerely thank all who came along to
their recent Sydney Album Launch show at Vic
on the Park with a major turn out packing the
venue for the band's first venture to Sydney
town.

A buzz to hear that many people travelled
from all over Australia to get to the gig and
it was great for the band to put faces to so
many names after corresponding for so long.
Speacial thanks to Vanishing Point's Silvio
Massaro from the mighty Vanishing Point for
also travelling up from Melbourne to be a
very special guest co-singing on the songs
'Colliding Worlds' and "Guardian'. Mega
thanks also to the bands who also played on
the bill - Shackles, Tyburnjig & Vaticide
who were all awesome, and made for a
successful night all round. Cheers to
promoter Dave and Metal Evilution for making
it all happen! Looking forward to returning
to Sydney for another show very soon. Cheers
to everyone!!!

SYDNEY Album Launch
Firstly major thanks
to all those who attended the Melbourne album
launch show at the Central Club to help make
it a great success(pictures from the show
uploaded very soon). The band sold a ton of
merchandise on the night and were very
humbled by the kind comments from many who
attended the show. The support is much
appreciated. Black Majesty head off to Sydney
SATURDAY 24 January 2004 (Australia Day
Weekend) for a special Sydney CD Launch show
at VIC ON THE PARK. (Corner of Addison &
Enmore Roads, ENMORE). Doors open at 8pm with
Sydney metallers Vaticide, Tyburnjig, &
Shackles kicking the night off. The band know
they have lots of friends in Sydney so please
come along and say hello!
